No advice on the quiche except it looks delicious and I want some!
ReplyDeletei use the recipe from the libby's pumpkin. 1/3 cup shortening, 1 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt. 3-4 tablespoons ice water. not butter, but it works well for me.
ReplyDeletehave you tried online recipe sites like allrecipes or recipezaar?
haha, thanks lulu!
ReplyDeleteillahee, thanks for the recipe - I am going to come clean and admit that I dont know what shortening is. can you tell me a brand name? and can you buy it here? My problem is that there are toooo many recipes online, that I don't know which one to try!
This pie crust was good in that it held form, but even though I pre-baked it, it was still a bit soggy for my liking.
Hey, I have 2 cans of libby's pumpkin in the cupboard here, I guess I will be making pumpkin pies soon now!
