I am having a bad day of it I think. Nothing major, just little things like, so far this morning I have:
ok, so it is all basically car related things. makes me think maybe I just shouldn't be driving!!
I had a good sleep last night, first time in a while. I have been having trouble sleeping, tossing and turning trying to get comfy. Lying on one side on the futons was making my legs ache. So last night it was back to the bed, with the nice comfy matress, but less room for us to sleep - futons give us more room to "breath" and escape from K's relentless kicking during the night. I set up a a side-car type bed for K on the side of our bed. It is too cold to be sleeping in different rooms, sleeping together keeps us all warmer, esp K who ALWAYS kicks off the blankets. I bought her a sleeping bag, but she won't wear it, actually, she has started taking her p.j.pants off at night too, which I think she got from J, who sleeps in just undies. Anyways, I have to keep covering her all night too so she doesn't freeze!
Have also been a bit off in general the last few days - tummy is crampy and I haven't had much of an appetite at all. I think I am gonna have a cruisy afternoon, bugger the housework, am gonna put on my uniqlo room pants and read magazines while K naps.

You deserve a drink!!! What a day! Now if you were driving like that everyday I would just say you were a bad driver but all on one day it just has to be a bad day. Hopefully tommorrow is better.
ReplyDeleteUnderstand the sleeping arrangements totally! We have two king single beds side by side (gifts) and it starts out two of us sleeping there then becomes 3 then 4 then 5. It's more like 4 of us in one bed and hubby in the other. I just hope noone rolls on the 1 year old and that the 3 year old doesn't wet the bed.
Hope you start feeling better soon
haha, a drink WOULD be nice - a whole bottle might be better. I forgot to mention that K had 2 super-duper tantrums today - one was when trying to get out of the house for the dog's walk this morning, and one was just now, after nap, all about coming downstairs. It was an hour long tanty, nothing I could do - not even being NICE helped!! aaarrggh.
ReplyDeleteI also have the "fear" of K wetting the bed - she sleeps in just undies for naps, but still nappies overnight. Most of the time they are dry, but sometimes they are wetter than a newborn! Still nighttime nappies for a while, me thinks. And yeah, why is it hubby always gets the most space?? lol.
oooh I`ve had days like that and I`m not even pregnant ;P
ReplyDeleteSleeping arrangements sound very similar, two king singles next to each other then Alex in the middle and she is a big mover, ends up sideways, her feet in my face and head on daddy`s side.
Haven`t reached the toilet training stage yet tho..something else to look forward to ;)
What is it with daddy getting a whole bed to himself..bubba`s gravitate to mamma and memory of boobies perhaps?
